Our White King Tonkotsu Ramen is the most ordered bowl. It features a creamy pork bone broth simmered for over 12 hours, paired with thin noodles, tender chashu pork, and a seasoned egg. It is the ideal starting point for first-time visitors.

Currently, Shinjuku Ramen offers online ordering for pickup. We recommend enjoying ramen fresh for the best broth flavor and noodle texture. Pickup is fast — order ahead and it will be ready when you arrive.
We offer several spicy bowls:
- Spicy Miso Ramen — fermented miso broth with a chili kick
- Red King Tantan — sesame-chili broth, moderate heat
- Red Kong Tantan — extra-spicy tantan with intensified chili and Sichuan peppercorn
No reservation is needed. Shinjuku Ramen welcomes walk-in guests and seating is first-come, first-served. For groups of 6 or more, we recommend calling ahead at (917) 388-2246.
Our tonkotsu broth is simmered at a rolling boil for over 12 hours using premium pork bones, extracting deep umami and creating a creamy, velvety texture. Each broth variety (tonkotsu, miso, shoyu, seafood) is prepared in small batches daily to ensure freshness.

Yes. You can add extra toppings such as seasoned egg, chashu pork, nori seaweed, corn, bean sprouts, and scallions. Spice levels can also be adjusted upon request.
Yes. We offer takeout orders for all menu items. For the best experience, we package broth and noodles separately when possible so noodles stay firm during transport. You can also order online for scheduled pickup.
The closest subway stations are:

Street parking in Midtown Manhattan is limited. Several parking garages are available nearby on 55th and 57th Streets. Public transit is typically the most convenient option for visiting our 56th Street location.
Our menu includes pork-based broths and toppings. The Inaka Vegetable Ramen does not contain pork, but our kitchen is not certified halal or kosher. Please call (917) 388-2246 if you have specific dietary questions.
Standard ramen noodles contain wheat gluten. We do not currently offer a dedicated gluten-free noodle option. Please ask our staff about possible accommodations for your dietary needs.
